Lawrence Korbandy is a prominent and experienced Advocate and Commissioner for Oaths with many years of practice. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the University of Baghdad, Iraq (Faculty of Law and Politics) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Development and International Cooperation from the University of Barcelona (Mon Tres), Spain. He is also a trained diplomat and holds a Professional Diploma in International Relations and Diplomatic Practice From Clingendael Institute of International Studies (Netherlands).

Lawrence has not only practiced in South Sudan but also worked in Spain as an associate in a law firm known as Costa and Diaz Associated Advocates. His experience as a legal practitioner includes, but is not limited to the following areas: Corporate/Commercial Law, Humanitarian Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Mergers and Acquisitions, Property Conveyance, Legislative Drafting, Labour Law and Employer /Employee Relations. He also has extensive experience in drafting Concession Agreements; especially in the areas of strategic resources including timber and petroleum. Lawrence has a good command of English, Spanish, Classical Arabic and some South Sudan Indigenous Languages.
